Two Azerbaijani women wrestlers will start competing today at the European Championship held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
According to
"Report", Elnura Mammadova (55 kg) and Alyona Kolesnik (59 kg) will step onto the mat.
Three of our freestyle wrestlers will test their strength in the medal matches.
Aghanazar Novruzov (74 kg) will compete for the bronze medal against Ramazan Ramazanov (Bulgaria), Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) will face Dauren Kurugliev (Greece) in the final, and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125) will face Solomon Manashvili (Georgia) in the same round.
It should be noted that previously, freestyle wrestlers Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg), Ali Rahimzade (65 kg), and Kenan Heybatov (70 kg) won bronze medals. The European Championship will end on April 13.
