Azerbaijani table tennis player Onur Guluzade has won an award at the "WTT Youth Contender" tournament held in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Report" reports that Onur, who qualified as the leader for the next stage with confident victories over local athlete Nidal Basic and German Paul Flemming in the group stage, defeated Romanian representative Raul Creucu in the 1/16 finals, followed by German athlete Tien Nhia Pong, and advanced to the semi-finals.
In the match for reaching the final, Onur Guluzade, who lost to another German opponent, Lucas Wang, with a score of 2-3, was awarded the bronze medal of the competition.
