Azerbaijani referees have joined the "Potential National Referees" development program organized by FIBA in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
"Report" informs that Salman Aliyev and Fakhraddin Mahmudov, who are assigned to games of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL), are among the participants of the event.
Young referees have officiated several international games as part of the development program.
It should be noted that the main goal of the development program, which will last until April 19, is to enable potential referees to gain international experience and to officiate in tournaments organized under the FIBA flag in the future.
