Azerbaijani para taekwondo athlete Sabir Zeynalov has won a silver medal at the Open Ranking Tournament held in Chuncheon, South Korea. According to Sport24.az, the athlete, who competed in the 58kg weight category, lost to Turkish athlete Ali Can Özcan in the final.
He defeated Russian Timur Baitimirov in the 1/8 final, Mongolian Tyemirbyek Khaulyet in the 1/4 final, and Uzbekistan's Fayoz Valijonov in the semi-final.
Note that the tournament brings ranking points for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Paralympic Games.
