Azerbaijani para-badminton players finished the European Championship with 2 silver medals.
Idman.biz reports that 14-year-old Zahra Salmanli and her British teammate Kristen Coombs competed in the final match today in the mixed doubles competition (SH-6 category), where male and female athletes competed together.
They lost 0:2 to their British rivals and won the silver medal of the European Championship.
20-year-old para-badminton player Ibrahim Aliyev and his Polish teammate Bartlomiej Mroz also competed in the final match today in the mixed doubles competition (SU-5 category), where male athletes competed together. They lost 0:2 to their French rivals and won the silver medal of the European Championship.
It should be noted that our national team was represented for the first time at the continental championship with 8 para-badminton players.
