Azerbaijani national cycling teams will participate in training camp in Gadabay

Azerbaijani national teams of various age groups in cycling will participate in a training camp in Gadabay.

The press service of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation (AzVİF) told "Report" about this.

At the training camp, which will be held at an altitude of 1500-1700 meters above sea level until the end of the month, athletes will improve their professionalism in theoretical and practical exercises and training.

Before leaving for the training camp, a meeting was held with the organizers and athletes of the event. Sahib Alakbarov, the 1st Vice-President of the Federation, who opened the event with an introductory speech, said that the AzVİF management pays special attention to increasing the preparation of the members of the national teams. The nature and geographical conditions of Gadabay region allow cyclists to train on various types of routes. In particular, high-altitude routes will have a positive impact on the physical fitness of athletes, which is very important for the preparation of our national team members for the European Championship to be held in France in October.

Sahib Alakbarov, stating that a base was allocated in Gadabay region for the team members, thanked entrepreneur Mubariz Bayramaliyev on behalf of the federation for his support in organizing the training camp. In his turn, Mubariz Bayramaliyev said that the base located in Gadabay and provided with all the necessary conditions will create conditions for increasing interest in cycling in the region.
