The international kyokushin karate tournament with the participation of more than 450 athletes from 15 countries has ended in Batumi, Georgia.
Idman.Biz reports that Azerbaijan was represented at the competition by our youth team under the leadership of Allahverdi Rustamov, vice-president of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation for contact styles.
In total, our team competed with 11 athletes and won two medals at the tournament.
Hekimzade Kenan took 2nd place, and Aliyev Muhammad took 3rd place.
It should be noted that the head coach of the youth national team in kyokushin karate style is Anar Jafarov.
