Azerbaijani karate fighters have performed successfully at the XXI European Championship and Championship in Goju-Ryu karate style (sports karate - WKF rules), held in Timișoara, Romania, from October 10 to 14.
Idman.biz reports that our team, participating in the competition under the leadership of Nurlan Guliyev, has achieved great results.
Coaches Azer Aslan, Elshan Khamoyev, Roya Safarov, Elmin Isayev, Gadir Huseynov and Ruslan Ismayilov, who have made a great contribution to the preparation and success of the karate fighters, together with their students, have demonstrated exemplary performances in various age and weight categories. It should be noted that Elshan Khamoyev and Ruslan Ismayilov also represented the competition as referees.
The medals won by Azerbaijani karate fighters are considered as a continuation of our country's successful performances in international sports arenas.
