Azerbaijani judoka Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) has qualified for the bronze medal match at the European Championship held in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.
According to "Report", he defeated Turan Bayramov, another member of the national team, in the consolation match.
Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg), Konul Aliyeva (48 kg), and Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (52 kg), who competed today, lost in the previous rounds and lost their chances for a medal.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented by a total of 15 judokas (9 men, 6 women) in 12 weight categories at the European Championship. The team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
