Azerbaijani judoka Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) shared his impressions of winning a bronze medal at the European Championship held in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.
The judoka told "Report" that he had prepared well for the competition.
He said that he would do his best in the next tournaments:
"I had a high-level competition. My opponents were very strong. Nevertheless, I was well prepared. My goal was the championship. Unfortunately, my wish did not come true, and I settled for third place. I couldn't become a champion due to some small flaws during the competition. I will do my best in the next tournaments."
It should be noted that Ahmad Yusifov defeated Spaniard Francisco Garrigos by ippon in the match for third place.
