The European Judo Championship continues in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.
QOL.az reports that Azerbaijani judoka Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) has qualified for a bronze medal match at the tournament. He defeated Turan Bayramov, another member of our national team, in a consolation match.
Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg), Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) and Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (52 kg) stopped competing in the competition.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team is competing in the European Championship both with individual athletes and teams. Our country is represented by 15 judokas in 12 weight categories, including 9 men and 6 women. The team will also compete in the mixed team competition.
