The Azerbaijani bodybuilding team has won its first awards at the European Championships held in Santa Susanna, Spain.
Idman.biz reports that on the first day of the competition, the team won two gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.
Tarlan Aliyev achieved a double victory by taking first place in the "Mens Physique" competition among both juniors and adults.
Ahmed Guluzade, who also competed in the same competition, also climbed the honorary podium twice, winning a silver medal among juniors and a bronze medal among adults.
In another height category, Shirin Orujov took third place in the "Mens Physique" competition.
Ilyas Abdullayev won a bronze medal in classic bodybuilding.
