Azerbaijani badminton players have won two silver medals at the international "Future" series tournament held in Venezuela.
İdman.biz reports that Ulvi Huseynov advanced to the final in the men's singles category, defeating representatives from Venezuela, Brazil, and Mexico. He only lost to his opponent from England, finishing the tournament with a silver medal.
In the mixed doubles category, the duo Ulvi Huseynov - Leyla Jamalzade advanced to the final, defeating rivals from Venezuela and Mexico. However, in the decisive match, the Azerbaijani athletes lost to the Mexican pair and settled for 2nd place.
It should be noted that previously, our badminton players won three gold medals at another open tournament held in Venezuela.
