Azerbaijani athletes will participate in the Belgian Open Judo Tournament
Azerbaijani athletes will participate in the Belgian Open Judo Tournament.
"Report" informs that more than 800 athletes from 24 countries will test their strength in the competition to be held in the city of Vise.
Azerbaijan will be represented in the competition by 27 judokas in 12 weight categories for women and men.
In the women's team, Leyla Aliyeva, Konul Aliyeva, Shafag Hamidova (all 48 kg), Aydan Valiyeva, Khadija Gadashova, Fidan Gasimova (all 52 kg), Acelya Toprak, Fidan Alizade, Ayten Verdiyeva (all 57 kg), Nargiz Hajiyeva (63 kg), Gunel Hasanli, Sudaba Agayeva (both 70 kg) and Nigar Suleymanova (+78 kg) will compete.
In the men's competition, Murad Muradli (60 kg), Elshan Asadov, Nazir Talibov (both 66 kg), Nariman Mirzayev, Gadir Huseynov, Ibrahim Aliyev, Aydin Rzayev, Rufat Shovletov (all 73 kg), Maharram Imamverdiyev, Karim Allahverdiyev, Suleyman Shukurov (all 81 kg), Nihad Shihalizade (100 kg), Imran Yusifov and Jamal Feyziyev (both +100 kg) will compete for the title of winner.
Note that the tournament will last from January 25 to 26.
