Azerbaijani athletes are performing successfully at the Kung Fu World Championship held in Perugia, Italy.
Idman.biz reports that Nurlan Aslanov, President of the Azerbaijan Kung Fu Federation, was given the opportunity to speak at the opening ceremony.
The head of the Federation spoke about the sporting achievements of our country, especially the special care and support shown by President Ilham Aliyev to sports. He stated that thanks to this attention and support, Azerbaijani athletes successfully perform in international arenas and raise our flag.
Arzu Aliyeva, Vice President, and Babek Aliyev, Amina Aliyeva's personal coach, also participated in order to support the competition.
Our 11-year-old athlete Amina Aliyeva qualified for the final and represents our country with dignity.
It should be noted that our country is represented by 7 athletes in the competition.
