The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AGF) held an event in Gazakh.
"Report" reports with reference to the federation's press service that sports halls located on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in the city of Gazakh and in the village of 2nd Shykhly were provided by the AGF with wrestling mats and equipment.
Speaking at the event, AGF Secretary General Nasimi Musayev, Deputy Head of the Gazakh-Tovuz Regional Youth and Sports Department Elchin Jafarov, Director of Gazakh UGIM Rahim Namazov, Deputy Secretary General of AGF Orkhan Mammadov and Honored Coach Ramiz Taghiyev noted that these steps taken to develop wrestling in the regions are of great importance and that they believe that strong, competitive wrestlers will be trained in such conditions.
It should be noted that in the last 2 years, wrestling halls located in Baku, Ganja, Sumgayit, Imishli, Salyan, Gusar, Goranboy, Gabala, Masalli, Astara, Goychay and Shamakhi have been provided with the necessary equipment by the AGF. It is planned to continue this process in stages, which is an important part of the federation's development strategy.
