Azerbaijan will host the World Ski Mountaineering Championships for the first time in 2027. Sport24.az reports that the press service of the Winter Sports Federation (AQİNF) has released information about this.
Based on the appeal addressed to the International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF) by AQİNF regarding holding the World Ski Mountaineering Championships in Azerbaijan, a decision was made to hold the competition in "Shahdag". The competition has been included in the international federation's calendar.
It should be noted that the World Championships are scheduled to be held from February 28 to March 7, 2027 at the "Shahdag" Tourism Center.
