The Azerbaijan Shooting Federation (ASF) has awarded the best athletes of the past year.
According to "Report", Vladislav Kalmykov was chosen as the best male athlete of the year, and Leyli Aliyeva as the best female athlete, based on internal evaluations of their international achievements throughout the year.
Nigar Nasiriva, Ruslan Lunev, Regina Meftakhetdinova, Zeynap Sultanova and Uzeyir Tapdigli, who renewed Azerbaijani records in Olympic shooting events, were awarded with special prizes.
The event was attended by ASF Vice-Presidents Zemfira Meftakhetdinova and Tofig Beylarov, Secretary General Emin Jafarov, as well as coaches and athletes of the federation.
