Panayotis Chronopoulos, the head coach of the Azerbaijan national water polo team, has resigned from his position.
Idman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that Zaur Aliyev, the president of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation, has announced this.
He stated that water polo is more developed in Croatia and that they want to benefit from the knowledge of this country: "We will deal with this issue closely. We will review the candidates."
It should be noted that the Greek specialist had been leading the national team since September last year.
