Azerbaijan's national Greco-Roman wrestling team has become the European champion.
According to "Report", the team won 3 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals at the continental championship held in Slovakia, and with 151 points, it won the title of the strongest in Europe.
This is the national team's 2nd European championship title.
It should be noted that Nihat Mammadli (60 kg), Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg), and Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) won gold medals, Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg) won silver, and Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg) and Islam Abbasov (87 kg) won bronze medals.
