The Azerbaijani men's national team took second place in terms of medal standings at the open judo tournament held in Vise, Belgium.
According to "Report", citing the press service of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, the team members finished the competition with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze awards.
On the second day of the tournament, Elshan Asadov (66 kg) won gold, and Maharram Imamverdiyev (81 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be noted that Murad Muradli (60 kg) previously won gold, Qadir Huseynov (73 kg) and Imran Yusifov (+100 kg) won silver, and Ibrahim Aliyev (73 kg) won bronze. Shafag Hamidova (48 kg) won a silver medal among women.
