The "Azerbaijan International 2026" international badminton tournament has started today.
Idman.Biz reports that 347 badminton players from 33 countries will test their strength in the "International Challenge" category tournament for 6 days.
238 matches will be played on 4 courts at the Sports Palace of Azerbaijan Technical University. The competition is managed by local and foreign referees.
Today, the first day of competition at the "Azerbaijan International 2026" tournament has come to an end. The first day of competition saw the qualifying rounds games for each category. Azerbaijan is represented at the tournament by 14 male and 14 female badminton players.
The final matches of the "Azerbaijan International" international tournament will be held on February 8.
