The Azerbaijani bodybuilding team finished the European Championship held in Santa Susanna, Spain with 12 medals, including four gold, two silver, and six bronze.
Idman.biz reports that an important result was achieved in the "Fit Model" competition, in which the Azerbaijani representative competed for the first time in the European Championship.
Natalya Tretyakova won a bronze medal in the +164 cm height category.
Khizri Shahriyar also won a bronze medal in the "Classic Physique" competition.
Ismayil Habiyev won the absolute European bodybuilding championship, and Hidayat Guluzade won the absolute championship in the "Muscular Mens Physique" competition.
Tayyar Valiyev also distinguished himself in bodybuilding by winning a silver medal, while Yalchin Mammadov won bronze medals in the "Masters" competition.
Tarlan Aliyev achieved a double victory by becoming the first in the "Mens Physique" competition among both juniors and adults. Ahmad Guluzade, who competed in the same competitions, also won a silver medal among juniors and a bronze medal among adults, rising to the podium twice.
Shirin Orucov took third place in the "Mens Physique" competition in another height category.
Ilyas Abdullayev won a bronze medal in classic bodybuilding.
