The Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation (ARAF) has been awarded the "World's Best Traditional Sports Organization" prize by the World Ethnosport Confederation within the framework of the VII Ethnosport Forum held in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.

The award was presented for the federation's contributions to the preservation of national and spiritual heritage, the development and international promotion of traditional equestrian sports, as well as the successful implementation of projects at the intersection of sports and culture.
Also, within the framework of presentations, discussions, and cooperation sessions at the forum, experience was exchanged between different countries, and opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the future were considered.
