Azerbaijan's Elite/U23 men's road cycling team has made its first start in the new season.
Idman.Biz reports that our team tested its strength in the 1.2 category race of the International Cycling Union held in Antalya, Turkey.
Musa Mikayilzade, Nofel Nuriyev, Ali Gurbanov, Shahin Eyvazov, Maxim Trendelyov, Tural Israfilov and Suleyman Alakbarov competed in the national team. The cyclists covered a distance of 130.4 km.
The best result in our team was shown by Musa Mikayilzade. He crossed the finish line in the leading group and took 11th place based on the photofinish decision.
Among our other representatives, Ali Gurbanov was 25th among 70 participants, Tural Israfilov was 33rd, Nofel Nuriyev was 34th, Suleyman Alakbarov was 39th, Shahin Eyvazov was 41st, and Maxim Trendelyov was 42nd.
