The Azerbaijan Cup in sports climbing among teenagers and youth, organized by the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation, has ended.
"Report" informs that athletes of different age groups competed in different categories in the tournament held in the difficulty type.
Rasul Nasir and Sofia Boriskina became the winners in the youth category. Murad Ibrahimli and Havva Yambulatova took the second place, and Nargiz Asadova and Anatoli Meniailov took the third place.
In the youth competition, Nazim Yusifzade and Aliya Ibrahimbeyova climbed to the highest step of the podium. Farhad Babayev, Salima Aliyeva took the second place, and Javid Yusubzade and Khadija Yambulatova took the third place.
At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded with diplomas and medals.
It should be noted that the aim of holding the Azerbaijan Cup is to develop the skills of young athletes in sports climbing and to increase their interest in this field.
