Azerbaijan Climbing Championship Completed

The Azerbaijan Climbing Championship has concluded.

Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijan Climbing Championship in the "bouldering" discipline among teenagers and youth was held on June 20-21, organized by the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The competition was organized to promote a healthy lifestyle among young athletes and to prepare for international competitions. Teenagers and young people from different regions of the country tested their strength in intense and exciting competitions.

Winners and prize-winners of the competition

Youth – boys category:

2. Nijat Valikhanov
3. Farhad Babayev

Youth – girls category:
1. Aliya Ibrahimbeyova
2. Salima Aliyeva
3. Khadija Yambulatova

Teenagers – boys category:
1. Rasul Nasir
2. Murad Ibrahimli
3. Anatoli Meniailov

Teenagers – girls category:
1. Sofia Boriskina
2. Havva Yambulatova
3. Eva Nikiforova

At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded diplomas and medals by the President of the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation Mukhtar Babayev, the Head of the Sports Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov, and the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation Sanan Rasulov.

It should be noted that the winners of the 1st place won a ticket to the international competition to be held in Turkey.
