The Azerbaijan Championship among young boxers will start tomorrow.
According to "Report", the winners in 13 weight categories for boys and 2 for girls will be determined at the competition to be held at the Boxing Center.
278 boys and 26 girls boxers from 64 teams representing clubs from various cities and regions of the republic, as well as sports societies, will participate in the championship. The opening ceremony of the competition will begin at 12:00, and the fights will begin at 12:15. The names of the winners will be announced on January 19.
As part of the competition, the Boxing Federation's selection tournament among girls will also be held, and the strongest in 6 weight categories will be determined.
The prize-winners will be involved in the national team and will represent our country in international competitions.
Note that the chief referee of the championship will be Anar Babanli.
