A competition was organized for female and juvenile prisoners within the framework of cooperation between the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and the Azerbaijan Badminton Federation (ABF).

It was reported that the tournament, held under the motto "Sport is life", took place in correctional facility No. 4 and a penitentiary for minors.
The main purpose of the competition is the social adaptation of prisoners, the protection of their health and the effective organization of their leisure time. The winners among female and juvenile prisoners competing for the championship were awarded with diplomas, medals and gifts.
It should be noted that similar projects are regularly implemented with relevant government agencies and non-governmental organizations in order to reintegrate convicted persons and organize their leisure time.
