Azerbaijan and Tunisia are exploring opportunities for joint cooperation in the field of anti-doping.
The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) informed "Report" about this.
A delegation led by AMADA Executive Director Tahmina Tagi-zade had a fruitful meeting with Mondher Gabouj, Director General of the Tunisian National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD), during the visit.
During the meeting, possible areas of cooperation between the two organizations were discussed, with education and science highlighted as key priority areas. The parties discussed ideas such as organizing training and capacity building programs for athletes and their support staff, as well as holding joint awareness seminars and trainings.
Both sides noted that further consultations are needed to turn the issues discussed into concrete initiatives. The meeting reflected a shared interest in cooperation opportunities in terms of promoting clean sport, mutual exchange of experience and scientific development in the future.
