An international forum on "Strengthening Global Anti-Doping Governance: Harmonization, Consistency, and Regional Cooperation" was organized by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

It was reported that our country was represented at the event by Tahmina Taghi-zade, Executive Director of AMADA.
At the opening ceremony, WADA President Witold Banka, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adham Ikromov, and Director of the National Anti-Doping Agency Abdushukur Sodikov delivered speeches.
The forum identified priority tasks to be implemented in the coming years. In particular, discussions were held with special attention paid to full compliance with the requirements of the WADA Code and the protection of the health and rights of athletes.
Within the framework of the international forum, representatives of each country provided information about their experiences, achievements, and existing problems, and analyzed effective ways and opportunities for cooperation in the fight against doping.
The event was attended by about 200 government officials, heads of national anti-doping organizations, highly qualified specialists, and international experts.
