"Australian Open 2025": Favorite Lost in the Final
The women's competition at the "Australian Open 2025" has concluded. Sport24.az reports that Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka faced American Madison Keys in the final.
Despite being the world's number one ranked player and the favorite of the match, Keys won. The 14th-ranked player won in three sets – 6:3, 2:6, 7:5. This is the 29-year-old tennis player's first Grand Slam title.
It should be noted that Sabalenka had been the champion at the "Australian Open" for the past two years.
