A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation with athletes who won medals at international tournaments held in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Idman.biz reports that Sahib Alakbarov, the 1st vice-president of the federation, who opened the event with an introductory speech, congratulated the athletes who won medals in international tournaments and wished these successes to be sustainable.
The 1st vice-president, who announced that a decision was made to reward the athletes who showed high results in the competitions by the president of the federation Zaur Akhundov, presented the awards to Artyom Proskuryakova, who won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in Uzbekistan, Viktoriya Sidorenko, who won 2 bronze medals in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and Maryam Huseynova, who was awarded a bronze medal in Kazakhstan.
