The Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation (ARAF) achieved a significant international achievement within the framework of the VII Ethnosport Forum held in St. Petersburg, Russia, and was awarded the "World's Best Traditional Sports Organization" award by the World Ethnosport Confederation.
According to "Report", the award was presented for its contributions to the preservation of national and spiritual heritage, the development of traditional equestrian sports and their promotion at the international level, as well as the successful implementation of projects at the intersection of sports and culture, and was considered a manifestation of the federation's successful activities in this field.
This success is another indication of the great attention paid by the country's leadership to the development of equestrian sports.
In recent years, ARAF has acted as the initiator and organizer of a number of international events, competitions and educational programs in the country and abroad.
The VII Ethnosport Forum was an important international event held to promote traditional sports and preserve cultural heritage with the participation of representatives from more than 60 countries, state and public organizations, international organizations and ethnosport experts.
Within the framework of presentations, discussions and cooperation sessions at the forum, experience was exchanged between different countries, and opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the future were considered.
