ARAF held an event on the results of the past year, and a new Secretary-General was announced
The Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan Republic (ARAF) held an event dedicated to the results of 2024.
According to "Report" from the State Border Service, the event was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, President of the Federation Elchin Guliyev, members of the Board and invited guests.
In his opening speech, Elchin Guliyev emphasized the attention and care shown by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva to the development of sports in our country for the upbringing of the young generation in a healthy spirit.
The President of the Federation expressed confidence that efforts will be made to develop the national sports heritage, achieve success at the international level and promote equestrian sports more widely in the country.
During the event, the award ceremony for the best of 2024 was organized by the Secretary General of the Federation, Bahruz Nabiyev.
After the award ceremony, Farid Gayibov made a speech and highly appreciated ARAF's achievements in 2024, emphasized the important role of the work done in the field of equestrianism in developing Azerbaijan's national sports heritage, and spoke about the importance of the federation's initiatives to achieve success at the international level and represent our country properly.
At the meeting held in the second part of the event, the goals and objectives set for the federation for 2025 were announced, the plans for the next year were discussed, and detailed information about the events and competitions to be held was presented.
The participants of the event noted the successes of 2024 and expressed their determination to reach new heights in the coming year.
Since the current Secretary General Bahruz Nabiyev was elected president of the International Chovgan Federation, Emil Seyidov's candidacy was nominated for the position of ARAF's new Secretary General. Based on the results of the voting, Emil Seyidov was elected the new Secretary General of ARAF.
