Approximately 5500 participants are expected to attend the 3rd CIS Games to be held in Azerbaijan.
According to "Report", Arzu Huseynova, National Press Secretary of the Baku City Circuit Operations Company, stated this at a press conference dedicated to the 3rd CIS Games.
She said that the opening and closing ceremonies of the tournament will be held at the Ganja city stadium on September 28 and October 8, respectively.
It should be noted that the 3rd CIS Games will be held from September 28 to October 8 in Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Shaki, Goygol and Khankendi.
It is planned to organize competitions in 23 sports. Athletes are expected to be invited to participate in the tournament not only from the CIS, but also from a number of other countries.
