Antonin Minarski, Vice President of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, expects athletes to perform well at the 2026 Fire and Rescue World Championship.
According to "Report", A. Minarski stated this in a statement to journalists in Baku.
He noted that the 2026 World Championship could be held in Azerbaijan.
According to A. Minarski, firefighters and rescuers will be able to show the best results in this tournament: "This is a sport in which firefighters demonstrate responsibility, the ability to work at height, fight fires, etc. I think we will see the best results in Azerbaijan."
It should be noted that today in Baku, the XXVI International Conference of heads of fire and rescue services of member countries of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers has started its work. The meeting plans to approve the country that will host the 2026 World Championship. Azerbaijan is the main candidate to host the World Championship.
