The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) has conducted an anti-doping awareness seminar for young members of the national Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling teams.
According to information provided to "Report" from AMADA's press service, athletes were provided with detailed information on important topics such as anti-doping rule violations, the doping control process, the rights and obligations of athletes in this process, therapeutic use exemptions, the consequences of using prohibited substances, penalties for their use, the prohibited list, location information, and the ADAMS system.
Questions of interest to the participants were answered at the interactive seminar.
The seminar aimed to contribute to the healthy physical and mental development of young athletes, as well as to strengthen the principles of fairness in sports. Athletes were emphasized the importance of adhering to anti-doping rules, and the knowledge and skills necessary to make correct decisions were brought to their attention.
