The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) took 649 doping tests from athletes in January-September 2025. Sport24.az reports that this was announced by Tahmina Taghi-zade, Executive Director of AMADA, at the international conference "Law and Justice in Sports: A New Anti-Doping Framework" dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty".
282 of the tests were carried out during competition and 367 were carried out out-of-competition. 68 athletes are under the supervision of the Registered Testing Pool (RTP). In addition, 30 anti-doping stations were audited, and new DNA/RTP selection and training sessions were organized.
