The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) has held an awareness seminar for handball players.
This was reported to "Report" by the AMADA press service.
The main goal of the event was to promote clean sports, strengthen the fight against doping, and increase participants' awareness of anti-doping.
The seminar provided extensive information on anti-doping rule violations, the legal and ethical consequences of these violations. Athletes were explained their rights and obligations within the framework of anti-doping rules, and detailed explanations were given on what to pay attention to during and before the doping control process.
At the same time, information was brought to the attention regarding the list of prohibited substances, the risks of their use, and the negative impact on health.
At the event, which promoted a healthy lifestyle, special emphasis was placed on the importance of adhering to the principles of clean sports not only for an athlete's career but also in terms of setting an example for society.
At the end of the seminar, questions from the participants were answered.
