The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) held an awareness seminar for young members of our national fencing team.
According to "Report", athletes were provided with detailed information on important topics such as anti-doping rule violations, the doping control process, athletes' rights and obligations in this process, therapeutic use exemptions, the consequences of using prohibited substances, penalties for their use, the prohibited list, whereabouts, and the ADAMS system.
Questions from participants were answered during the interactive seminar.
The seminar aimed to contribute to the healthy physical and mental development of young athletes, as well as to strengthen the principles of fairness in sports. The importance of complying with anti-doping rules was emphasized to athletes, and the knowledge and skills necessary to make the right decisions were brought to their attention.
