The European Taekwondo Club Championship, held in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, continues. Sport24.az reports that Azerbaijan is represented by 3 clubs in the competition.
Taekwondo fighters from the "Altay", "Atlet" and "Mubariz" clubs are fighting for the awards. In the competition for young teenagers, our athletes won 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Fateh Sultanli (40 kg), Cahid Ismayilzade (52 kg) and Farid Melikli (24 kg) became champions by defeating all their opponents. Farhad Melikli (24 kg) won silver, and Akbar Tagiyev (27 kg) and Ajdar Galabayov (36 kg) won bronze medals. "Altay" took 2nd place in the team score with two gold medals.
It should be noted that the championship will end today.
