It was reported that Ali Asgarov, an athlete from Nakhchivan, achieved a successful result in the competition. He competed in the 93 kg weight category and lifted 190 kg. Ali Asgarov, who became the Azerbaijani champion again with this result, was also presented with a letter of appreciation for his services in the development of powerlifting in the autonomous republic.
It should be noted that Ali Asgarov is an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. He is a champion and prize-winner of world, European, Eurasian, Azerbaijani championships and many national and world-level competitions in strength sports (bench press).
