The Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation (AKAF) will hold a rowing competition on a concept trainer for the first time.
"Report" reports that the championship, which aims to promote rowing among teenagers and young people and ensure its mass character, will be held on February 2, Azerbaijan Youth Day.
More than 30 athletes from Baku and Mingachevir will participate in the competition, which will be held at the Mingachevir "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center. The winners will be awarded diplomas by the federation.
It should be noted that rowing competitions on a concept trainer are widespread in the world. European and world championships are also held in this type of sport.
