The National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) have reached an agreement that five players acquitted of sexual assault charges will not be allowed to play until December 1.
İdman.biz reports that, nevertheless, these players will be able to sign contracts with NHL clubs starting October 15.
It is noted that the hockey players have stated that they will not appeal this decision.
Former players of the Canadian junior hockey team, Dillon Dube, Cal Foote, Alex Formenton, Carter Hart, and Michael McLeod, were found not guilty of the sexual assault charges against them.
