"Absheron" head coach Erhan Toker has commented on the game in which they defeated "Nakhchivan" in the play-off stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League and advanced to the semi-finals.
"Report" informs that the Turkish specialist spoke to the club's press service about this.
He stated that they were pleased with the 78:73 victory:
"We have been fighting very well since the play-in matches. Our job was difficult. We lost the first game. This victory did not come easily. I congratulate my players. They did not lose their concentration. They fought to the end. These types of matches are won when you fight well and play to the end. We tried to be positive in any tense moment. We finally succeeded. We are very tired now. There is little time until the first semi-final match. We will rest and immediately prepare for the next game."
It should be noted that "Absheron" defeated "Nakhchivan" in the third match of the play-off stage held today. Prior to this, the parties had each won one victory in this round. The Nakhchivan representative will face "Neftchi" in the next stage.
