The upcoming Eurocup matches will begin with a minute of silence in memory of the late Pope Francis.
GOL.az reports that this was announced by the UEFA press service.
The statement said:
"UEFA will observe a minute of silence before this week's UEFA Youth League and Women's Champions League semi-final matches, as well as the men's Eurocup semi-final matches to be held from April 29 to May 1, in memory of Pope Francis."
Pope Francis passed away on April 21 at the age of 88.
