18-time Russian Darts Champion Boris Koltsov has been disqualified for 6 months.
"Report" reports, citing the press service of the Russian Darts Federation (RDF), that this was due to the athlete's unauthorized participation in a tournament held in Macau, China.
RDF Vice President Nail Aksyanov has been suspended from his post for a year and a half. Russian representatives participated in the tournament held in Macau from June 13 to 15 under the national flag and with state symbols. It was reported that the trip to the competition was organized without the consent of the RDF and the Ministry of Sports.
It should be noted that the 36-year-old athlete participated in world championships held by the Professional Darts Corporation.
