Meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee: "Artificial Intelligence" competition and other issues discussed

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) was held.

Idman.biz reports with reference to "Report" that Chingiz Huseynzade, vice-president of the organization, who spoke at the meeting held in the administrative building of the NOC, introduced the agenda to the participants of the Executive Committee.

The agenda included the "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation in Sports" competition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Baku-2015 I European Games, EYOF-2025 European Youth Olympic Festival, Olympic Day, and current issues.

Chingiz Huseynzade spoke about the 10th anniversary of the Baku-2015 I European Games: "10 years ago, the attention of the whole world was focused on Azerbaijan. Our country took on this responsibility for the first time in history and hosted the I European Games at a high level. By organizing the I European Games in an exemplary manner, we gained the trust of international organizations. We proved that Azerbaijan is the most reliable partner for holding any prestigious sports event. "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation in Sports" is being organized for the first time in the world".

Noting that anyone over the age of 18 can apply to participate in the competition, Chingiz Huseynzade brought to attention that the jury has also been determined. It was emphasized that the jury includes representatives from the European and Turkish Olympic Committees, as well as from our country. The jury includes Viktoriya Kabezas, Secretary General of the Spanish National Olympic Committee, Volkan Öner, Public Relations Director of the Turkish National Olympic Committee, Tunzala Aghayeva, star ambassador of the I European Games, gold medalist Rasul Chunayev and NOC representative Mehman Karimov.

Speaking about Olympic Day at the meeting of the Executive Committee, Chingiz Huseynzade noted that an event will be organized on June 23 at the National Olympic Committee.

Mehman Karimov, director of the NOC's international programs department, spoke about the presentation of the "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation in Sports competition" dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Baku-2015 European Games. Rasul Chunayev, the Greco-Roman wrestling winner of the I European Games, and Tunzala Aghayeva, the star ambassador of the games, shared their impressions of the Baku-2015 European Games.

At the meeting, Vaqif Aliyev, the head of the Skopje-2025 EYOF mission, also spoke and informed the members of the Executive Committee about the preparations for the European Youth Olympic Festival.
