AFFA held a webinar on "Talent Identification in Football"

The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has held a webinar on .

Idman.Biz reports, citing the organization, that coaches, academy and club representatives, as well as physical education teachers from Baku and the regions participated in the event.

The webinar was presented by Kamran Shahverdiyev, who is involved in detecting football talents and scouting in Italy. The coach shared his experience in identifying, selecting and developing talents, and provided information on modern approaches.

During the online seminar, the topics of identification and development of talented players, evaluation of players based on their technical, tactical, physical and psychological indicators, the main stages of the scouting process, analysis of data and the use of modern scouting tools were discussed.

During the interactive discussions, the participants shared the difficulties they faced in Azerbaijan in identifying, selecting and developing talents, and exchanged ideas on the approaches used in clubs and academies, as well as the possibilities of applying international experience.

The participants highly appreciated the webinar and stated that they would benefit from international experience in the future.
